From: Blues to Jazz, Rock & Roll, Swing, Latin, Country,
all with a great rythym, for show or dancing.
Speciality is bringing atmosphere and joy to any party.
Personal Mentors: Memphis Slim and Manu D’Bango.
Began
career in Paris France as Jazz drummer and later changed to organ.
In 1966 returned to New York to learn the best way of entertaining from
many performing artists in New York and nearby area.
Played Hammond Organ, (Jimmy Smith, etc.) and played in groups around
New York
as back-up musician for Patti LaBelle, “Screaming” Jay Hawkins,
Len Barry,
and many others.
In 1982, while living in Hawaii, started performing as solo piano player
with synthesizer,
and singing. Returned to California in 1984, as band leader and in September
of 1984,
took a leave of absence to travel around Europe and,
after four months and many offers, decided to stay.
Spent two years in Marbella, Spain with much success at Puerto Banus.
I was hired to play for a birthday party in Bavaria.
At this party, I met Gerd Kafer, from Kafer Party Service, Munich and
the rest is history.
